Mymensingh – At least three people were killed and four others injured in a road accident in the northern Bangladeshi district of Mymensingh on Friday, police said.
The accident occurred when a truck hit an auto-rickshaw at Kuripara in Muktagachha sub-district at the early hours of the day.
The identity of the victims could not be ascertained immediately.
Fazlul Karim, Muktagaccha police station officer, said the CNG-run three-wheeler was heading to Muktagachha from Jamalpur in the morning while the truck knocked it at the area leaving three persons dead on the scene.
The injured are being treated at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital while the bodies were kept at the hospital morgue for mortuaries, said the police officer.
