Dhaka- Four people have been killed and two other injured after a train rammed into a private car at a level crossing in south-western Bangladeshi district of Jessore, police said.
The accident occurred when the car reached on an unguarded level crossing and the Dhaka-bound train rammed it at Mathurapur, officer Iliyas Hosaain said.
The accident left the car passengers Abdul Hakim, 32, Chayan, 12,Joya Rani Sarkar, 50 and Rezaul Karim Razu, 38, dead on the scene. Local residents recovered the body from inside the car.
A relative of one of the deceased said that member of his brother’s family met the accident when they were returning home after paying visit to a relative in the town.
